Each time, the Rams battled back and were determined to not wind up in a hole again when they faced top-seeded Montclair in the North Jersey Section 1, Group IV final on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

BOONTON _ To junior right midfielder Meghan Mollahan, Boonton's 2-0 victory over Mountain Lakes in a North Jersey Section 1, Group I semifinal was perfectly logical.

"It was our turn," Mollahan said. "They beat us last year in the sectional final."

Weidmann, a freshman right inner, gave herself a pep talk before the Golden Panthers' North Jersey Section 1, Group I quarterfinal against Whippany Park on Saturday, Nov. 10.

HACKETTSTOWN _ There have been games this season when Annelise Malgieri, High Point's junior right back, felt somewhat uninvolved.

Malgeri would get her stick on the ball once, maybe twice. Other times, she didn't even get a close-up look at it. That's because the Wildcats' high-powered attack often was in command.
